About this experience
The Orlando Towers are Soweto's most recognisable landmark: two decommissioned cooling towers, one covered in the largest mural in South Africa, with a suspension bridge strung between them 100 metres up.
Jump off it, swing off it, or simply take the lift up for the view — then head to a shisa nyama, where you choose your meat at the counter, watch it hit the grill and eat it at a long table with the neighbourhood.
